Job Summary

Operate as backup for the receiving/warehouse operator and control operator in a feed mill. Run automated receiving, batching, and pelleting systems; organize and rotate feed mill warehouse storage; unload bulk, bagged, liquid products, and rail cars as needed. Perform QA assurance for incoming materials and finished feeds, while completing daily housekeeping tasks and operating required equipment safely, including locomotive and pallet jack duties.

Key Responsibilities

•Back up the receiving/warehouse operator and control operator.
•Operate automated receiving, batching, and pelleting systems.
•Organize the feed mill warehouse, store products properly, and rotate stock per policy.
•Unload bulk, liquid, warehouse trucks, and rail cars/unit trains as needed.
•Maintain daily housekeeping duties and perform QA assurance for received and finished products.

Key Requirements

•Obtain forklift license, weigher’s license, and Trac Mobile certification.
•Be able to lift up to 60 lbs., climb ladders, work at heights up to 200 ft., and operate pallet jack.
•Operate automated receiving, batching, and pelleting systems.
•Be responsible for QA assurance of bulk, bagged, and liquid products received, and finished feeds produced.
•Class B license is a plus but not required.
