Key Responsibilities

  • •Validate and characterize RF transceiver SoC blocks across receiver and transmitter chains for WiFi and UWB systems.
  • •Debug transceiver issues by identifying root causes and driving corrective solutions across power/biasing, register sequencing, board-level, and process-related problems.
  • •Conduct RF/IF/DC measurements for receiver and transmitter performance, including noise figure, linearity, IQ/phase error, LO leakage, and DC operating points.
  • •Develop PCB schematic and layout, including material selection and stackup, and implement design changes while coordinating with PCB service providers.
  • •Automate measurement flows by coding and interfacing with instruments, processing data across PVT corners, and distinguishing IC issues from setup issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • •Minimum 6 years of experience validating/debugging radio transceiver systems.
  • •Deep understanding of transmit/receive chains, modulation, and performance metrics such as PER/BER/SNR and EVM/RMSEE.
  • •Ability to debug RF transceiver SoC issues, identify root cause (power/biasing, register sequencing, board issues, process marginalities), and drive solutions.
  • •Proficiency in RF measurements, PCB schematic/layout work, and coding/automation for measurement flows with instrument interfacing and data interpretation.
