Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead large-scale construction projects from early conception through final completion.
  • •Negotiate Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts.
  • •Plan and execute construction activities according to Vistra standards, developing standards when needed.
  • •Provide staffing, create site-specific execution plans and action item trackers, and administer company policies and work rules.
  • •Ensure on-time, on-budget completion with safety and performance requirements; coordinate with commissioning teams and support turnover to operations.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years relevant experience in areas such as power generation operations, maintenance, engineering, budgeting, and contractor management.
  • •Preferred experience executing thermal power plant projects.
  • •Experience managing large contract scope and negotiating EPC contracts.
  • •Engineering degree from an accredited college or university.
  • •Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to team build and solve problems; will manage other project/construction/design/field engineering staff.
