Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn general agronomy skills such as scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, custom application procedures, and mixing procedures.
  • •Perform all agronomy/seed operations.
  • •Monitor and maintain quality of inventory and assist with required record keeping.
  • •Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for agronomy equipment such as legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, and trucks.
  • •Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed while maintaining compliance with CHS Environmental and Safety policy.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other agriculture-related degree program.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • •Work and learn to perform agronomy/seed operations safely and in compliance with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policy.
  • •Help maintain quality inventory through monitoring and record keeping.
  • •Agriculture experience or background knowledge is helpful. Previous internship experience is helpful but not required.
