Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead new product development from concept generation through design, validation, and production launch.
  • •Proactively identify technical risks, lead problem-solving, and drive corrective actions across the development cycle.
  • •Own mechanical and structural design of products and subsystems, including strength calculations, structural analysis, and tolerance/theoretical evaluations.
  • •Lead engineering team efforts for 3D models, detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, translating requirements into manufacturable solutions.
  • •Apply DFM/DFA to improve manufacturability and partner with cross-functional teams to support successful product launch, providing technical leadership and mentorship.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •8+ years of new product development experience related to hydraulic tools and pipe wrenches.
  • •Proven experience in mechanical/structural design, engineering analysis, and product commercialization with delivery against quality, schedule, and profitability targets.
  • •Strong foundation in strength calculations, structural analysis, tolerance analysis, and theoretical engineering evaluations.
  • •Proficiency with 3D and 2D CAD tools and engineering drawing standards, plus knowledge of manufacturing processes and DFM/DFA.
