Key Responsibilities

  • •Set and deliver the distribution centre’s vision, strategy, and long-term operational plans for peaks, initiatives, and launches.
  • •Lead operational teams to deliver SLA performance while controlling costs, and develop strategies to improve quality and team performance.
  • •Identify and implement initiatives to improve distribution capabilities across processes, structures, planning, teams, and technology.
  • •Manage supplier contracts, procurement activities, and compliance, including onboarding of new suppliers and vendors under global policies.
  • •Own the budget and use management information to monitor targets, identify variances, and take remedial action; ensure optimal use of WMS/ASRS/MHE systems to maintain stock availability and service levels.

Key Requirements

  • •Considerable commercial experience in distribution and logistics at a senior level in a fast-paced, multi-national direct-to-consumer automated operations environment.
  • •Experience leading transformational change programs to improve efficiency across a warehouse/distribution environment.
  • •Extensive experience managing managers and leading large, complex multi-discipline teams, handling people-related topics effectively.
  • •Experience managing and working in a unionised environment.
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English and strong communication skills.
