Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Prerender’s technology vision, roadmap, and engineering strategy, aligning engineering work to business objectives and customer value.
  • •Lead AI-assisted development tooling adoption, set engineering quality standards, and drive architecture and infrastructure decisions using a holistic TCO view.
  • •Run the multi-region, Kubernetes-based render fleet efficiently, maintaining cost per render, reliability, and operational hygiene.
  • •Own security and compliance as a standing program and maintain SOC 2/ISO 27001 operational discipline.
  • •Coach and mentor engineers, drive continuous improvement in delivery, enhance DevOps/CI/CD and monitoring, and partner with CEO and Product on execution and investments.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in senior engineering leadership (VP/Director/CTO) at a SaaS company.
  • •Strong infrastructure background running large-scale distributed systems and production Kubernetes, with experience balancing cost, maintenance burden, and engineering velocity.
  • •Experience embedding AI-assisted development tooling into engineering workflows while maintaining review standards and quality.
  • •Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop engineering teams through significant transformations.
  • •Experience owning security and compliance programs in SaaS (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent).
