Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technology design for SOC solutions, including specification of interfaces between solution components.
  • •Support design and configuration of security tools and define infrastructure requirements for security tool deployments.
  • •Support creation and establishment of cloud hosting and containers and on-prem hosted VMs and containers, including applying security controls and compliance frameworks.
  • •Design and configure network security devices, including VLANs, DNS, and identity management capability.
  • •Oversee deployment/implementation activities, develop test procedures, and review/approve release and change documentation (design, deployment, configuration, and administration guides).

Key Requirements

  • •Lead high- and low-level design and deployment-level designs for Security Operations Centre solutions delivered to customers.
  • •Demonstrate knowledge of SOC technology design, build, deployment, and operation, including at least two of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, or threat intelligence.
  • •Experience deploying and configuring applications on cloud and/or on-prem to support high data ingest rates.
  • •Knowledge of on-prem architectures and design, including network security concepts (OSI/TCP-IP, IP addressing/subnetting/routing, VLANs/DNS/identity management).
  • •Ability to develop test procedures, support requirements/user stories, and ensure traceability to solution components for delivery and release/changes.
