Job Summary

Perform a full range of automotive repairs and diagnostics in Carvana’s Inspection Centers, from light maintenance to heavy engine work. Handle complex mechanical issues (timing belts, suspension, engine work), diagnose and repair electrical problems including electric and hybrid vehicles, and complete repairs for wheel bearings, axles, and climate control systems. Work in a fast-paced reconditioning environment and be prepared for mandatory overtime when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, including timing belts, suspension systems, and heavy engine work.
•Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including electric and hybrid vehicles.
•Complete repairs for wheel bearings and axles, and vehicle climate control systems including ACs and heater cores.
•Work in Carvana Inspection Centers to help deliver vehicles ready for customers as part of the reconditioning process.
•Be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
•Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools, including lifting up to 60 pounds independently.
•Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license (some positions may require an MVR check).
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment and be exposed to extreme heat/cold at times.
•Use safety equipment such as face shield/goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and protective garments.
