Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow assembly drawings/specifications and computer information systems to prepare parts and build subassemblies, modules, and accessories for new gas turbine engines.
  • •Use overhaul and repair procedures to perform mechanical overhaul work on engines, modules, and related components.
  • •Obtain parts, verify conformance to assembly requirements, and fit/measure components to ensure dimensions are within specified limits.
  • •Use mechanic’s hand tools, holding fixtures, and specialized assembly equipment to build engine sections and maintain assigned equipment and tooling.
  • •Provide support for test operations and assist with testing under direct supervision, including component/accessory tests, retrofit projects, and specification changes.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or Equivalent with formal training in a specialized field achieving an A&P license (or equivalent), or 4 years of technical high school including technical post high school certification plus 5+ years of heavy automotive experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. Citizen (U.S. Person/Immigration Status Requirements).
  • •Experience as an aerospace mechanic or A&P mechanic.
  • •3+ years of avionics mechanic experience.
  • •Ability to follow assembly drawings/specifications and prepare parts and build subassemblies, modules, and accessories.
