Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop risk-based audit plans for master planning, infrastructure development, land portfolios, and major capital projects, including emerging strategic and operational risks.
  • •Lead and execute end-to-end audit engagements covering design, procurement, construction, contract management, and project delivery; assess governance, controls, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • •Communicate findings to senior management and the Audit Committee by preparing high-quality audit reports and presenting key risk exposures and recommendations.
  • •Track and follow up on implementation of corrective actions, validating adequacy and escalating overdue or high-risk issues as needed.
  • •Ensure audit activities comply with internal audit policies, methodology, and professional standards, and drive continuous improvement in audit tools and techniques.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of internal audit experience in land estates, large-scale infrastructure development, construction, or capital projects.
  • •Strong experience auditing land asset management, master planning, and development projects across the end-to-end project lifecycle (procurement, contract administration, execution).
  • •Experience in blue-chip organizations or professional services firms, and exposure to diverse regulatory frameworks and construction practices (Middle East and Asia preferred).
  • •Big 4 internal audit experience is highly desirable.
  • •Professional certifications such as RICS, PMP, PE, CEng (or equivalent) and internal audit/risk certifications such as CIA or CRMA (preferred).
