Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a security overlay on EMEA deals, collaborating with account Solutions Architects and Account Executives on security, privacy, and compliance questions.
  • •Lead security conversations with CISOs, security architects, and GRC teams by translating ClickHouse architecture into recognized controls frameworks.
  • •Design and validate secure ClickHouse Cloud and BYOC deployment patterns, covering network isolation, private connectivity, encryption, customer-managed keys, identity federation, and granular access control.
  • •Run threat modeling and architecture reviews with customer security teams and own the security workstream through POC and production readiness.
  • •Own the compliance posture and improve security questionnaire/RFP security sections, DPIAs, and third-party risk review responses using a reusable answer library.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant customer-facing technical experience at a data platform, analytics, streaming, or database company, with strong data architecture understanding.
  • •Demonstrable depth in cloud and data security, including IAM, key management/cryptography, network isolation, secure multi-tenancy, threat modeling, and auditing.
  • •Comfort working with enterprise security/compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS, plus EU regulation.
  • •Credibility with security buyers, including experience presenting to CISOs and security architects.
  • •Able to produce clear written artifacts and work across a region with effective prioritization.
