Job Summary

Drive growth of the interim management business in the energy and environment sector by developing and managing senior client relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, and translating client needs into interim management mandates. Partner with Delivery colleagues to staff projects with suitable interim managers and teams. Maintain long-term trusted relationships and accurate CRM documentation while applying market knowledge and continuous learning to stay current on regulatory and sector developments.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify, approach, and develop relationships with senior decision-makers across energy and environmental organizations, including boards and functional leaders.
•Build and convert business opportunities by understanding client priorities, challenges, and urgent transformation needs.
•Assess client situations and translate them into suitable interim management mandates and commercial opportunities.
•Partner with Delivery colleagues to identify and recommend interim managers and project teams for client assignments.
•Maintain accurate CRM documentation and uphold professionalism, confidentiality, discretion, and integrity across client, candidate, and internal interactions.

Key Requirements

•Several years of experience in sales, business development, or consulting involving complex service offerings at senior decision-maker level, ideally in the energy sector.
•Strong knowledge of the energy and/or environmental sector, including renewable energy, grid infrastructure, regulation, sustainability, and business transformation.
•Demonstrated success building relationships and developing business opportunities at C-level.
•An established, credible professional network within the energy and/or environmental market.
•Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office, with strong analytical/structured thinking and communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
