Job Summary

Design and develop equipment installation package infrastructure for First-Of-a-Kind manufacturing equipment, including steel pedestal foundations for 300mm tools. Create and implement structural designs using CAD/Revit, perform engineering experiments to improve construction practices, and maintain Intel Master Design Specifications (IMDS). Partner with internal stakeholders and global supply chain teams to support technology transfers, qualify suppliers, and optimize efficiency and safety using applicable US building codes.

•Design, execute, and analyze engineering experiments to pilot and refine construction practices.
•Collaborate with suppliers to design, qualify, and improve equipment and systems aligned to manufacturing requirements.
•Develop and maintain Intel Master Design Specifications (IMDS) for tool install infrastructure and process technologies.
•Perform operational analysis to improve efficiency and safety processes and support technology transfers and equipment startup.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's with 3+ years of relevant work experience or a master's in Structural Engineering or similar field (degree required by September 2026).
•Plan to register as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) in Oregon within the next 5 years.
•Proficiency with CAD modeling tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, or equivalent programs.
•Knowledge of US building codes including ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC, plus building and fire codes for hazardous occupancies.
•Strong technical writing skills for specifications and engineering documentation.
