Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in the post-show sorting process of all recycling, composting, and landfill materials.
  • •Be an ambassador to crew members to educate them on their role in achieving venue sustainability goals.
  • •Be available to work show days and non-show days on weekdays and weekends to ensure all waste is sorted and diverted.
  • •Assist in employee engagement programs (e.g., water bottle refill punch cards, post-show sort giveaways, and new ideas).
  • •Engage fans and encourage participation in sustainability programs through activities or education; maintain and support the post-show sorting area and pick-up after each event.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 20.82 - 23 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Must be 18 years of age.
  • •Assist in post-show sorting and be willing to work show days and non-show days on weekdays and weekends.
  • •Ability to work outside in variable weather and not be afraid to get dirty or be around unpleasant odors.
  • •Ability to walk, bend, reach, stoop, and lift/carry 50+ lbs., with about 75% of time spent sorting materials.
  • •Experience in events/zero waste events is a plus; must have strong time management and a positive teamwork-focused attitude.
