Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to backend and physical design across the RTL to GDS flow, ensuring high-quality VLSI designs.
  • •Leverage backend/physical design experience to drive CAD tool development and optimization.
  • •Handle Definition, Physical Synthesis, Place and Route, Optimization, Timing Closure, and Design Floor Planning.
  • •Collaborate with team to implement CAD methodologies and tool integrations for efficient silicon design.
  • •Work independently in a startup-like environment while delivering in a cross-functional Cisco Silicon One team.

Key Requirements

  • •A VLSI Design Engineer with extensive experience in backend design.
  • •B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with relevant background.
  • •2+ years of hands-on experience in a relevant domain.
  • •Strong understanding of Place & Route flow.
  • •Knowledge of Physical Design CAD and Physical Design EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence).
