Key Responsibilities

  • •Own day-to-day operation, readiness, and discipline of Space Manufacturing lab and cleanroom spaces across three locations so build and test run without facility-driven downtime.
  • •Build and lead the site support team (contamination-control, facilities/maintenance, lab technicians/specialists), hiring, mentoring, and managing performance while operating as a working manager in the near term.
  • •Serve as the single site point of contact for facilities: coordinate building services, maintenance/repairs, moves, space changes, and outside vendors to keep spaces configured for work.
  • •Own the contamination-control program for each cleanroom (ISO 5–8), including gowning protocols and throughput, continuous particle monitoring, certification cadence, and consumables stock/flow.
  • •Coordinate safety and facilities systems upkeep across sites, including hazardous-material and specialty-gas handling/storage, AHUs/environmental monitoring, compressed/specialty gases (including nitrogen purge), and day-to-day safety compliance with EHS.
  • •Manage lab equipment and material flow across sites: check-in/out, asset tracking, calibration/metrology scheduling, preventive maintenance, tool/fixture readiness, and receiving/kitting/stores/consumables flow.
  • •Drive lab and facility standards and documentation (operating procedures, work instructions, safety procedures, and certification/monitoring records) to keep spaces audit-ready.
  • •Lead the transition of work into the Valinor facility as it comes online and partner with AI&T, manufacturing engineering, and program teams to sequence work and keep WIP moving.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years operating or managing a manufacturing lab, cleanroom, or comparable controlled production environment.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical/science discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • •3+ years hands-on experience operating or managing an ISO-classified cleanroom (ISO 5–8) or other contamination-controlled environment.
  • •2+ years working with cleanroom facility systems such as HVAC/AHUs, environmental and particle monitoring, gowning/air-shower discipline, and cleanroom certification requirements.
  • •2+ years leading or mentoring a team (formal management or team-lead) while able to operate as a working manager in the day-to-day.
