Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out, and process cash, negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station and help balance vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine as assigned.
  • •Record sales of monetary instruments and maintain a neat, well-stocked teller area.
  • •Follow established limits and bank policies and procedures to protect customer accounts and ensure bank safety and soundness.
  • •Promote and cross-sell bank products and services; float between branch locations as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to high school or GED plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination).
  • •Ability to effectively communicate with customers and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group settings.
  • •Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using money and other forms of measurement.
  • •Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple multi-step instructions and handle standardized situations with limited variables.
