Key Responsibilities

  • •Travel to CBP deployment sites to install and activate infrastructure and end-user equipment.
  • •Fix issues that remote support could not and hand the site back working.
  • •Coordinate with network engineers, cloud and mobility teams, and site personnel.
  • •Make on-site decisions when plans don’t match reality, escalating only when appropriate.
  • •Produce accurate as-built records, flag conditions for the next deployment, and ensure work is verified in actual use.

Key Requirements

  • •U.S. Citizenship required.
  • •Hold an active CBP Background Investigation (CBP BI) and EOD (or be able to begin CBP BI processing).
  • •Have deployed or refreshed equipment at sites you had never seen before.
  • •Work effectively alone when the nearest colleague is hours away.
  • •Broad capability across networking hardware, end-user equipment, and cabling; Network+ or CCNA are useful.
