Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide joint leadership within the MEP discipline team, delivering design and technical advice on multidisciplinary projects.
  • •Supervise completion of detailed designs and supervise the work of others in the mechanical building services function.
  • •Lead overall discipline feasibility studies, including responsibility for feasibility considerations specific to the project.
  • •Direct others in producing detailed and performance specifications for the discipline, subject to colleague review before issue.
  • •Review design programmes and ensure sufficient resource is available to complete the works.

Key Requirements

  • •Have a proven track record leading projects for the mechanical building services discipline and for overall project teams at an Associate Director grade.
  • •Provide joint leadership within a mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) discipline team, offering design and technical advice on multidisciplinary projects.
  • •Supervise detailed designs and supervise the work of others in this function, including responsibility for directing others producing detailed and performance specifications subject to review.
  • •Lead discipline feasibility studies and consider project feasibility for the discipline; review design programmes and ensure sufficient resource to complete the works.
  • •Demonstrate working knowledge of UK and European regulations (including Part L) and relevant mechanical design software such as Revit MEP/3D tools, AutoCAD, TAS or IES, and obtain UK vetting level Security Check (SC).
