Job Summary

Provide technical and compliance support to field employees to reinforce safe work habits and help maintain a safety-first culture. Under the Health and Safety Manager, assist with OSHA-regulated plant audits, investigate incidents to identify root causes, support safety committees, and deliver training through classroom, hands-on instruction, and toolbox talks. Conduct jobsite safety inspections, mentor new employees, manage eLearning programs, and maintain safety documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical and compliance expertise to field employees to support safe work environments across business units.
•Assist with audits of plant facilities regulated under OSHA (General Industry and Construction Standards).
•Investigate incidents and document accidents, violations, injuries, and unsafe conditions to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
•Deliver safety training and certifications, including classroom and hands-on instruction, plus weekly toolbox talks and monthly safety training.
•Conduct jobsite safety inspections, observe PPE use, and support Safety Mentor/eLearning programs; provide support to the Safety Manager and Operations.

Key Requirements

•At least 1–2 years of construction and/or industrial safety experience.
•Thorough understanding of and ability to enforce federal, state, local, and company regulations.
•Must have a valid, state-issued driver’s license; must be able to obtain a TWIC card and required ISTC certifications.
•Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures.
•Bilingual preferred (Spanish).
