Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and scale automation for embedded firmware testing, designing, implementing, and maintaining the automated testing infrastructure and test suite for embedded Linux and RTOS firmware.
  • •Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and Application Software Engineers, and the System Architect to ensure testability is built into designs and to create a reliable, scalable firmware system.
  • •Mentor and drive quality by guiding the team in planning, design, and delivery of QA strategies, including automated and manual testing for complex projects.
  • •Help move early prototypes into robust, production-ready devices by being the quality partner throughout the development cycle.
  • •Work in a multi-functional, autonomous squad using Agile methodology to improve quality practices and team capability.

Key Requirements

  • •Expertise in embedded software/firmware testing with six or more years of experience in embedded systems and firmware testing, plus advanced Unix-like OS knowledge.
  • •Technical proficiency with HDLs and programming/scripting languages such as C/C++, Rust, Python, Bash, or others, and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • •Team-player mindset: collaborative, flexible, and fully committed to a team.
  • •Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing infrastructures (e.g., for embedded firmware) and testing at integration, functional, performance, and stress levels.
  • •Ability to design and drive comprehensive QA strategies and support both automated and manual testing on complex projects.
