Operate and maintain gas pipelines and compression-related facilities with significant complexity beyond typical maintenance work. Perform installations, repairs, and upkeep of pipeline equipment and right-of-way, support projects such as excavation oversight and pigging, and represent the company with landowners, public officials, and during local meetings. Conduct governmental compliance work, identify and resolve safety/environmental concerns, maintain documentation, and respond to after-hours call-outs and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate and maintain gas pipelines and compression facility equipment, including compressors, engines, turbines, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
•Install, repair, service, and maintain valves and pipeline appurtenances; perform general upkeep and cleaning of facilities, storage areas, offices, and pipeline right-of-way.
•Support pipeline projects (e.g., excavation oversight, air mover operation, pigging support, and leak surveys) as needed.
•Oversee construction and/or maintenance activities by third parties, and train/oversee company and third-party personnel.
•Complete governmental compliance activities (PHMSA, state agencies, EPA), identify and correct safety/environmental concerns, maintain documentation/records, and respond to after-hours call-outs and emergencies.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma (or equivalent).
•Basic computer skills (MS Office), basic math skills, and good verbal/written communication.
•Strong mechanical skills and ability to safely operate a vehicle over rough terrain; maintain a valid driver’s license (and may require a CDL).
•Available for shift work and standby; ability to follow work rules and schedules, work in a team, and take direction from supervisors.
•Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, document, and complete work with minimal supervision and complete applicable documentation/record keeping.
