Key Responsibilities

•Define and own AI architecture strategy across AI platforms and applications at Rackspace.
•Design scalable, reusable AI architecture patterns including agentic systems, multi-agent workflows, RAG pipelines, and orchestration frameworks.
•Define and govern non-functional requirements for AI systems, including scalability, latency, cost efficiency, and security.
•Lead build vs. buy vs. partner decisions for AI tooling, frameworks, and infrastructure and ensure interoperability across teams and services.
•Mentor engineers and serve as a technical voice in cross-team architecture governance, while championing responsible AI practices.

Key Requirements

•Architecture thinking to design complex distributed systems, define non-functional requirements, and govern architecture at an organizational level.
•Hands-on experience designing production-grade agentic systems, RAG pipelines, and LLM-integrated applications.
•Technical leadership experience setting engineering direction and leading architecture decisions across teams.
•Expert-level Python experience, including async patterns, testing, packaging, and production-grade engineering practices.
•Deep cloud architecture expertise with AWS, including managed AI services; experience with LangChain/LangGraph and AWS Bedrock is required.
