Job Summary

Lead data platform teams responsible for scalable, reliable, secure, and governed data capabilities that power analytics, data science, AI, and product use cases. Define the platform vision and execution strategy, delivering cloud-native solutions using Snowflake, AWS, dbt, and Airflow. Own the roadmap across ingestion to access, drive reliability/governance (SLAs/SLOs, quality, observability, lineage), and mentor engineering teams while partnering with security and product stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the roadmap and delivery of scalable data platform capabilities across ingestion, transformation, storage, serving, and access layers.
•Define and enforce platform architecture standards, engineering best practices, and development patterns.
•Establish accountability for platform reliability, availability, performance, and operational excellence; define and manage SLAs/SLOs.
•Drive implementation of data quality, observability, lineage, monitoring, and alerting frameworks, and lead incident management with root cause analysis.
•Lead and develop data platform engineering teams, plan capacity/hiring/onboarding, and communicate progress, risks, trade-offs, and decisions to senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or cloud data architecture, with 3+ years in engineering leadership roles.
•Strong expertise in SQL, Python, data modeling, ELT/ETL development, and modern data architecture patterns.
•Hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS data services (EKS, S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift).
•Experience with orchestration and transformation tools such as Airflow, dbt, or similar technologies.
•Deep understanding of data warehouse, lakehouse, and enterprise data platform architectures.
