Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead packaging engineering projects for primary and secondary packaging, including concept, design, testing, tooling, and pilot production.
  • •Conduct cost/benefit analysis, develop packaging strategies (one-way & returnable), and apply cost techniques across materials and tooling.
  • •Create and maintain packaging specifications and prepare packaging-related Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) affecting Bills of Material (BOM).
  • •Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot packaging problems and support package performance evaluations and testing.
  • •Support packaging innovation and technology evaluation, define value stream mapping, develop pallet patterns, and approve/re-approve PPAP for packaging.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or Post-Graduate Diploma in Packaging or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum 8–12 years of experience in a packaging engineering role.
  • •Proficiency in CreO, Artios CAD, and CAPE.
  • •Knowledge of packaging materials and manufacturing processes (paper, plastic, wood, steel).
  • •Experience with SAP or other large enterprise data systems and process development.
