Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement, configure, maintain, and performance-tune critical SQL Server RDBMS systems for corporate applications.
  • •Manage SQL Server databases across product lifecycle environments from development to production.
  • •Monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot issues in real time, and resolve problems end-to-end.
  • •Apply data modelling and support integration/performance expectations, including query tuning and schema refinement.
  • •Refine/automate regular processes, perform scheduled maintenance and release deployments, and provide rotating 24/7 on-call support.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of SQL Server administration experience (versions 2012 through 2022).
  • •Experience with Azure SQL and the Azure platform.
  • •Strong performance tuning/optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • •Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models plus High Availability and Disaster Recovery options.
  • •Knowledge of HA/DR features including Database Mirroring, SQL Server Failover Cluster Instances (FCIs), and Always On Availability Groups.
