Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in the preparation of insurance-related matters for client Board packs and strategy meetings.
  • •Monitor renewal deadlines for allocated clients and proactively start renewal processes.
  • •Maintain an electronic filing system and ensure timely filing of client documents; ensure archiving is clearly labelled.
  • •Assist with re/insurance contract and reinsurance trust wording reviews for new and renewing business; contribute to deal monitoring and collateral tracking systems.
  • •Day-to-day insurance administration and assistance with underwriting and claims functions to support client programmes and provide administration excellence.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have or be on track to achieve a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in any degree subject area
  • •Right to work in Guernsey without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • •Excellent numerical ability and strong communication skills
  • •Motivation and ambition to pursue an actuarial career within Reinsurance
  • •Experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook is desirable
