Job Summary

Lead civil engineering efforts for multi-site infrastructure projects in the public and private sectors, guiding due diligence, permitting, design, and construction of facilities, roads, bridges, water systems, and related infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop plans, models, and cost estimates, ensure QA/QC, and prepare technical reports for regulatory compliance and project advancement.

Key Responsibilities

•Determine and execute data collection and analysis methods from sites, surveys, blueprints, GIS data, and other sources for project development and construction.
•Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, safety and phasing plans, and update infrastructure layouts coordinating with owners, disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients.
•Incorporate advanced modeling, design requirements, and operating strategies to ensure safety and functionality for end-users and transportation systems.
•Work solo or in cross-functional teams to execute multiple projects, lay out installations, establish reference points, and ensure conformity with specifications and permits.
•Prepare technical reports and presentations explaining findings and recommendations to improve or address design and construction issues.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
•5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and civil design
•Engineer in Training Certification
•Proficient knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and permitting/project work
•Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management; including rehabilitation and new design projects
