Investigate, identify, and neutralize cyber threats as part of a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) team. Handle escalations, onboard and train analysts, and support continuous improvement of security operations. Monitor and manage security logs, maintain threat and security metrics, create MDR reports and client cases, and research indicators of compromise using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to support 24/7 response.

Key Responsibilities

•Facilitate investigation, identification, and neutralization of cyber threats for enterprise systems
•Handle escalations from Level I Threat Analysts, guiding investigation handling
•Provide detection and response to security events and cyber-threats, including security log management and monitoring
•Maintain information security metrics and create MDR service-related reports
•Create client cases, track follow-up through threat neutralization, and interact with clients across multiple mediums

Key Requirements

•2-4 years of experience in a SOC environment or a computer security team in an IT environment
•Endpoint and network security experience, including IDS, IPS, EDR, ATP, and malware defenses/monitoring
•Knowledge of common adversary tactics and techniques, such as obfuscation, persistence, and defense evasion
•Working knowledge of incident response procedures and strong Windows event log analysis
•Experience with security data management (SIEM preferred) and scripting/query skills (SQL; KQL, PowerShell, or Python preferred; OSQuery a plus)
