Job Summary

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe architecture for high-scale, data-intensive platforms. Provide technical leadership on key initiatives and set and reinforce technical standards. Research existing platform implementations, recommend upgrades with Operations for troubleshooting, performance, and uptime, and support production/non-production issues. Collaborate with peers and management to improve processes and the customer service experience, including code reviews and unit testing.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide thought and technical leadership for key initiatives.
•Develop and maintain architecture solutions for high-scale processing of large data volumes.
•Set, communicate, and reinforce technical standards.
•Assess and research current platform implementations and define actions to meet customer needs.
•Participate in code review and unit testing, and support issues in non-prod and production.

Key Requirements

•5+ years working with CICS, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and JCL.
•5+ years of CICS system knowledge.
•Good understanding of CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing process.
•Familiarity with DB2 tools, File-Aid, scheduler, and debugger tools.
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar subject.
