Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end commercial underwriting: underwrite, structure, and document prospect and client transactions, and model appropriate loan structures.
  • •Manage assigned portfolio by monitoring performance and trends, defining client credit solutions, and driving remediation for issues.
  • •Conduct client calling efforts to expand relationships, applying credit policy, pricing, and structure to meet client needs and risk acceptance criteria.
  • •Act as a credit subject matter expert by partnering with investment banking peers and sharing insights on industry and economic trends.
  • •Utilize assigned associates and analysts and provide mentorship/coaching to junior PMs, associates, and analysts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
  • •5+ years of progressive experience in middle market credit and/or mid-corporate underwriting, leveraged finance, sponsor finance, and portfolio management within a bank or direct lending environment.
  • •Mastery-level proficiency with MS Office Desktop applications.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills and solid written/verbal communication.
  • •Sound credit skills with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment.
