Key Responsibilities

  • •Take ownership of major deals and use underwriting expertise to win and retain strategic accounts.
  • •Develop trusted broker partnerships to unlock new opportunities and strengthen market presence.
  • •Represent the business through face-to-face engagement, networking, and active participation in industry events.
  • •Support team development by guiding peers and reviewing referrals to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • •Coordinate with internal departments to streamline processes and deliver seamless, client-focused solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven expertise in commercial underwriting/assessing complex risks (real estate experience desirable but not essential).
  • •Track record of dealing with large and/or complex risks and cases.
  • •Proven ability to manage broker relationships that fuel growth and long-term retention.
  • •Ability to adapt and react to commercial short-notice changes.
  • •Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages. (CII qualification/progression is desirable.)
