Job Summary

Design and develop AI-enabled, production-ready applications and intelligent systems that combine large language models, structured data, and domain knowledge. Build full-stack solutions for client-facing projects spanning mining, resources, infrastructure, and environmental decision-making. Develop backend APIs, cloud-native components, RAG and vector search pipelines, and knowledge graph/semantic-layer capabilities. Collaborate with analytics, data science, knowledge engineering, and digital product teams while following secure engineering best practices and CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications integrating advanced AI and data capabilities.
•Develop backend APIs and cloud-native components for scalable data and analytics workflows.
•Integrate LLMs, agentic workflows, and NLP techniques into production-ready systems.
•Develop and integrate data pipelines and knowledge-driven components (e.g., structured data, semantic layers, knowledge graphs) into applications.
•Support CI/CD, Git workflows, and DevOps automation, implementing secure, maintainable, and testable code.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 104,100 - 138,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
•5+ years of professional software development, including 2+ years leading design, deployment, and scaling of LLM-based or agentic AI systems in production.
•Demonstrated experience designing end-to-end AI architectures (data ingestion, retrieval, reasoning layers, and user-facing applications).
•Strong experience with LLM workflows: prompt engineering, evaluation strategies, agent orchestration, and tool integration.
•Hands-on experience with embeddings, vector search, and RAG pipelines, plus scalable backend systems and APIs (Python/FastAPI preferred or Node.js).
