Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, improve, and expand web applications and data pipelines in support of risk-focused healthcare technology.
  • •Develop scalable, performant solutions through new implementations and technology changes as needed.
  • •Design and build APIs, server-side services, and database-backed functionality.
  • •Use observability and strong testing practices (high test coverage, frequent incremental releases) to minimize risk.
  • •Mentor and coach engineers through thorough pull request reviews and decision-making support.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years as an engineer building full-stack web applications with a cross-functional team.
  • •Expertise with at least 1 server-side technology (Nodejs, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go, or JVM).
  • •Experience with data ingestion systems and performance optimization for large-scale data processing and analysis.
  • •Familiarity with relational databases and 3+ years using SQL (or other database querying language) on large multi-table datasets.
  • •3+ years acting as a trusted technical decision-maker and 3+ years coaching other engineers, including pull request reviews.
