Provide effective, safe nursing care to a selected group of patients and families. Deliver quality care by following therapeutic standards and nursing philosophies aligned with Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP), Joint Commission International, and the Plan of Care Policy. Perform patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, conduct procedures like immunizations and phlebotomy, document care in the electronic medical record, and coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide nursing care in an effective and safe manner to patients and families under the guidance of a preceptor or designated RN.
•Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring outcomes, and making or recommending necessary adjustments.
•Perform basic assessment, observe signs and symptoms, reactions to medications/treatments, and determine normal versus abnormal characteristics.
•Plan and implement patient care using the nursing process, including reporting, referrals, and initiating emergency procedures when indicated.
•Provide and accurately document direct and indirect patient care in the electronic medical record while maintaining communication and coordination with healthcare teams.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
•Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (required).
•Ability to assess patients, identify normal versus abnormal signs, and evaluate health outcomes against care goals.
•Deliver safe direct and indirect patient care, including administration of medications and therapeutic agents, plus procedures such as skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy, and initiating peripheral venous access.
•Knowledge of ERP with preferred SAP functional skills, and ability to align practice with QCHP, Joint Commission International, and Plan of Care Policy requirements.
