Key Responsibilities

  • •Work closely with lead MLEs to contribute to research, prototype development, and technical evaluations of AI startups.
  • •Develop and improve ML capabilities including model training, continued pretraining, RL, fine-tuning, LoRA, and novel approaches.
  • •Create high-level requirements and designs and contribute to architectural/coding best practices.
  • •Contribute to the ML lifecycle across data collection, annotation, modeling, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • •Participate in software design and code reviews with frontend, backend, full-stack, Dev-Ops, and AI engineers, and help contribute to research papers and publications.

Salary: USD 131,000 - 271,600 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master of Science degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
  • •Strong expertise in agentic engineering, including terminal agents, agentic harnesses, and context engineering.
  • •Experience developing data-driven microservices, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and data pipelines; hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes and familiarity with a cloud provider.
  • •At least 5+ years of professional experience as an MLE or developer, including 2+ years optimizing and serving machine learning models.
  • •Experience with SAP BTP & SAP AI Core and strong skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript, plus ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
