Job Summary

Support leadership in improving Intel’s supply chain and logistics strategy by defining material inspection methodologies, optimizing supply plans, and driving cost, process, and production yield improvements. Lead supplier selection for new business, mitigate alternate-sourcing risks, and establish control standards and KPIs. Perform root-cause analysis, supplier process window validation, quality excursion management, and failure mode analysis across substrate development and ramp activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Incorporate process and quality improvements into Intel’s supply chain and logistics strategy, including inspection methodology and supply optimization plans.
•Support long-range product planning by defining next-generation methodology capabilities aligned to the supply chain roadmap.
•Track supply-demand trends and conduct root-cause analysis to identify opportunities for process and quality improvements with supply chain leads.
•Lead supplier selection for new business and drive product and purchase specification content to ensure commodity performance compliance.
•Manage supplier process window validation, improvements (quality, reliability, yield, cost), and quality excursion/failure mode analysis.

Key Requirements

•BS, MS, or PhD in science or engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience in semiconductor (Fab, Substrate, Assembly) development or manufacturing environment.
•Strong skills in supplier management, quality management, analytical problem solving, and influence in relevant fields of HVM.
•In-depth knowledge of substrate manufacturing processes and operations, raw materials, packaging technologies, and quality/process control systems.
•Fluent business-level English communication with strong presentation skills and ability to interact with internal and supplier management.
•Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
