Job Summary

Frontend engineer on OKX’s core platforms (BOSS and Customer Genius) building scalable, performance-driven UI components while leveraging AI copilots and agents to accelerate development. You’ll contribute to reusable extensions, cross-product libraries, and tooling to boost engineering velocity, collaborating with PMs, designers, and backend engineers to translate complex workflows into delightful user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect, develop and maintain frontend solutions with performance, scalability and continuous integration in mind.
•Leverage AI coding agents and tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and automate repetitive tasks across the team"s workflow.
•Design and maintain reusable AI extensions like custom skills, MCP servers, and tool integrations.
•Develop and maintain reusable component libraries, plugins, and shared modules consumed across multiple products to reduce duplication and improve consistency.
•Drive improvements to developer experience and engineering velocity - build tooling, CI/CD pipelines, code generation, and AI-assisted workflow automation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or a related STEM field.
•Solid production experience with React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.
•Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and comfortable using AI to augment development workflows, generate code, and solve problems faster.
•Exposure to or strong interest in building AI-powered features such as chat interfaces, LLM integrations, agent orchestration, or conversational UX.
•Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol), custom skill/tool authoring, or AI agent extensibility patterns and understanding how to connect AI agents to external systems.
