Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide and coordinate outpatient patient care, education, and advice to patients and their families.
  • •Assess and reassess patient needs; collect and analyze pertinent patient health data.
  • •Determine nursing diagnoses and define predicted and expected outcomes for planned care.
  • •Record vital signs, recognize abnormalities, address issues, and escalate as required.
  • •Administer medications and treatments, prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures while following infection control and patient safety standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Appropriate license to work as a registered nurse with the relevant regulatory health authority.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
  • •Communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • •Be able to work as part of an interprofessional team and collaborate across departments when necessary.
  • •Use an electronic medical record platform for clinical documentation (desirable).
