Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with the Regional Business Line Leader to identify, develop, and implement Canada Buildings & Places objectives and strategies, including KPIs and targets.
  • •Build and coach a high-performing team of Operations Managers and Project Directors, supporting staff development, mentorship, retention, and organizational structure.
  • •Ensure strong project delivery and client service through project oversight, staffing, workload balancing, and technical work aligned with scope, budget, and standards.
  • •Implement change initiatives to respond to market expectations, client needs, and workforce needs, including changes to processes, policies, tools, or staffing.
  • •Actively contribute to win strategies and oversee project execution escalations affecting client satisfaction and best practices; represent the business at key events.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Building Engineering, Planning or related field plus 12 years of relevant Design and Building industry experience, including 4 years of leadership experience.
  • •15 years of increased supervisory, management, and operational/financial experience with essential industry-related experience.
  • •Experience in the Design and Building industry, including alternative contracting such as integrated project delivery, P3, or Alliance.
  • •Excellent supervisory and leadership skills, including managing large teams of technical staff and leadership-level staff.
  • •Proven delivery as a Project Manager on large complex projects/programs; PMP certification is an asset.
