Key Responsibilities

  • •Support and perform failure analysis for qualification/evaluation/process reject/RMAs and deliver results for final reports.
  • •Advise problem-solving and cross-functional teams on analysis techniques to identify cause/failure mechanisms.
  • •Develop FA and reliability capabilities to enhance detection/predictivity, productivity, or optimize recipes; drive robustness, cycle time, and cost reduction improvements.
  • •Maintain machine and lab readiness, perform buyoff for new FA/reliability tools and capacity ramp-ups, and ensure lab environment meets 5S and safety requirements.
  • •Perform reliability test request support, establish test recipes and procedures, train staff, and support internal/external audits with follow-up action items.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Material/Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Minimum 3 years’ Reliability Test and FA experience in the semiconductor/photonic industry.
  • •Knowledge of Reliability Environmental Stress Tests including HTHH, TC, UV, and LT tests.
  • •Knowledge and application of FA techniques such as cross-section, ion-mill, CSAM, EDX, FTIR, and FIB.
  • •Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a team approach to problem-solving.
