Job Summary

Lead the research, development, and optimization of composite and metallic materials and associated processes for military aircraft. Own specifications, qualifications, test plans, and failure analysis for materials and processes within the Airframe Materials & Process Department. Provide technical support across design, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality, represent the team in technical meetings, and contribute process specifications and technical notes under ADS SAU governance.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead research, development, and optimization of composite materials, metals, surface treatments, paints, sealants, and elastomeric technologies.
•Develop and manage technical specifications and qualifications for materials and processes for military aircraft and related products.
•Advise design, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, and quality departments on material-related queries and concessions.
•Represent the Materials & Process Department in project meetings, MFTs, and task groups; lead development of process specifications and technical notes under ADS SAU control.
•Define test plans for R&T, design, and development of new technologies and materials, including conducting failure analysis for assigned scope.
