Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure for enterprise client programmes delivered in New Zealand.
  • •Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform) for provisioning and operations.
  • •Configure and administer Azure networking components such as VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute.
  • •Provision and administer Azure platform services including virtual machines, storage, databases, and container services.
  • •Implement cloud security controls (Azure Policy, RBAC, Microsoft Defender, Azure Monitor) and support CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of professional experience delivering cloud infrastructure or IT engineering solutions.
  • •Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and App Services.
  • •Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.
  • •Experience configuring Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints, Load Balancers, and Application Gateway.
  • •Experience with scripting/automation in PowerShell or Python and CI/CD pipeline development using Azure DevOps (or equivalent).
