Job Summary

Safely perform a range of construction and plant duties supporting highway, utility, and grade crews, including operating and maintaining crusher machinery. You will handle crusher setup/takedown, conveyor and screen maintenance, shoveling and moving aggregate with equipment such as skidsteer (and loader if trained), maintaining clean work areas, and assisting with traffic control and jobsite cleanup. Work is performed per supervisor instructions, with limited direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform machinery maintenance and repairs, including conveyors/screens, replacing screens and liners, and greasing moving parts.
•Set up and take down crusher machinery, including running cables/hoses, assembling/disassembling equipment, and shoveling aggregate.
•Keep the crusher area clean by removing debris and moving excess material around the machinery.
•Operate equipment such as skidsteer (and loader if trained) to move parts and materials, and deliver/pick up construction materials at job sites.
•Support jobsite clean-up, including assisting with flagging and traffic control and maintaining tools/equipment in safe, clean condition.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Previous related construction field experience is a plus.
