Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, document, test, and support control and diagnostic systems using logical and mathematical solutions.
  • •Analyze systems capabilities to determine end-user needs and resolve problems aligned to program intent, output requirements, and input data acquisition.
  • •Ensure hardware and software standards are met and innovate/implement technologies, components, and sub-systems to meet specifications.
  • •Provide technical leadership, training, and oversight while collaborating with equipment designers on electronic data processing systems and product/commercial software.
  • •Design and implement build procedures and ensure novel ideas are captured and protected using applications IP processes and tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field plus 8 years of progressive Software Engineering experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or medical; or Master’s plus 5 years.
  • •5+ years of experience with embedded C programming.
  • •3+ years of experience with safety-critical software engineering lifecycle standards such as DO-178C.
  • •3+ years of experience developing software for Generator or Bus Power Control Units.
  • •Non-US person authorization to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
