Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead assigned activities for monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including preparation/review of journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and post-close reporting.
  • •Serve as primary accounting partner for assigned lines of business, handling monthly accounting, financial analysis, and resolution of accounting issues.
  • •Manage inventory accounting activities, including product and bill-of-material setup/maintenance, cost updates, inventory revaluation, physical counts, and variances.
  • •Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation, investigating and resolving reconciling items promptly.
  • •Support tax filings, audits, and internal controls including SOX compliance testing and remediation of control deficiencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • •5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • •Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (ViewPoint and/or SAP a plus).
  • •Manufacturing, construction materials, or heavy-industry accounting experience.
