Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead cost control across multiple projects or a single highly complex programme, ensuring alignment of time, cost, risk, change, and scope.
  • •Develop and maintain robust cost controls and reports to provide clients with accurate data for management decisions.
  • •Create and map cost estimates to WBS/CBS, set budgets, and ensure purchase orders and work orders align with control accounts.
  • •Provide cost information to support change notes, forecasts, and ETCs; drive accruals and accurate reflection of Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP).
  • •Engage with management/leadership to communicate updates on cost control within a complex project environment and mentor delivery teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional Project Controls experience focusing on Cost Engineering/Control across project lifecycles; nuclear experience is desirable but not required.
  • •Detailed understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting, and performance reporting and analysis.
  • •Strong communication and leadership abilities with the capacity to influence, motivate, and develop teams in diverse environments.
  • •Ability to obtain BPSS security clearance and membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., APM, PMI).
  • •Experience leading Cost Control Assurance activities and coordinating with Scheduling, Risk, Reporting, and Change Control domains.
