Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver consulting work for power systems studies and analysis, including load flow, fault level, reactive compensation, stability, harmonic/power quality/filter design, and transient overvoltage/insulation coordination.
  • •Conduct control interaction studies, earthing studies, and protection coordination/Arc Flash studies.
  • •Provide technical and project management leadership to support successful delivery of consulting work.
  • •Manage and resourcing of the power systems team, ensuring technical quality of delivery, reports, and proposals.
  • •Drive commercial development by building client relationships, leading proposal development, and improving efficiency through new scripts and excellence in power systems software packages.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree level education in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems specialisation.
  • •Extensive experience in power systems consulting.
  • •Ability to lead and motivate a team, guiding and developing team members.
  • •Proven track record delivering client work efficiently to externally driven deadlines and managing multiple proposals/projects.
  • •Strong market knowledge of UK power industry with proven client relationships with UK clients.
