Job Summary

Maintain equipment and facilities during the nights shift to keep operations safe, reliable, and productive. Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures (including LOTO, arc flash, and hot work), GMPs, and applicable regulatory requirements. Perform planned and unplanned maintenance using CMMS, execute inspections and repairs, and apply root-cause and failure-analysis methods. Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, support predictive maintenance technologies, and maintain facility utilities and systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical components.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain equipment and facility systems to operate safely and productively, supporting continuous improvement and plant reliability.
•Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, corrective repairs, and equipment rebuilds.
•Execute and document planned and unplanned maintenance work findings and data in CMMS.
•Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns using RCA/BDA and predictive maintenance follow-up actions.
•Maintain and repair facility/utility systems (mechanical, electrical, water/steam/chilling systems, power, gas, compressed air) and perform related repairs (HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and fire alarm/sprinkler system tests as needed).

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience performing mechanical and electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs; pass the plant-specific maintenance test required.
•Comply with plant and maintenance safety procedures, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out, arc flash practices, and hot work permits.
•Follow GMPs for the assigned area and maintain appropriate PPE per OSHA and food handling expectations.
•Use CMMS to execute and document planned and unplanned work findings during the shift.
•Interpret technical documents and diagrams (e.g., manuals, blueprints, schematics, single-line electrical drawings, and P&ID’s) to perform repairs and maintenance.
